Raising Cane’s & Post Malone
The Challenge
In October 2023, Raising Cane’s, in partnership with singer Post Malone, unveiled a Dallas Cowboys-themed restaurant in Dallas. The restaurant features a 32-foot-tall Cowboys star, a silver-wrapped exterior and a Cowboys blue interior adorned with memorabilia from Post’s concerts and videos. The collaboration, an expansion of the previous Post Malone-designed restaurant in Utah, marks an unprecedented level of partnership between a restaurant brand, global superstar and sports team. The themed restaurant logo, exclusive merchandise vending machine and unique design elements contribute to a one-of-a-kind dining experience, solidifying Raising Cane’s as a brand that seamlessly blends culture, celebrity, and sports.
The Solution
Champion worked with the Raising Cane’s team to announce this exciting partnership and restaurant debut to the local and national media.
The Outcome
The opening was an extraordinary success with all major DFW TV affiliates and national outlets – including USA Today, E!, People, ET, Sports Illustrated, Fox Sports, Yahoo! and TMZ – covering the festivities. Champion’s efforts resulted in more than 600 million impressions and nearly $2 million of earned media coverage.
