Description

Award-winning PR & Digital Media Agency is seeking a full-time Public Relations Content Specialist with three to five years of experience at a marketing, advertising and/or PR agency or client-side marketing/advertising/PR department. Responsibilities

  • Leverage your creativity and ability to collaborate with our team to deliver content that not only meets but exceeds our clients’ expectations
  • Develop and execute creative content strategies that align with client objectives and resonate with the target audience
  • Generate engaging and relevant content across various formats such as press releases, bylined articles, blog posts, brand messaging, buyer personas, long-form social media content and more
  • Conduct in-depth research to stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive analysis, and emerging content formats
  • Collaborate closely with PR, digital and social media teams to ensure consistent brand messaging and a cohesive content experience
  • Optimize content for SEO and user experience, leveraging keyword research and best practices
  • Work three days in-office and two days from home


Qualifications

  • A college degree in marketing, communications, journalism or related discipline
  • 3-5+ years of experience in public relations or media writing at an agency and/or client-side, with a primary focus on writing and content (restaurant, CPG and/or food and beverage industries are a huge plus)

  • Outstanding written, verbal and interpersonal communication and collaboration skills
  • Is energetic, organized, detail-oriented and self-motivated, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams under limited supervision
  • Proven track record of creating high-quality, engaging content, with a portfolio showcasing your work
  • Strong understanding of content marketing, SEO, and public relations best practices
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
  • Proven experience as a Content Creator, Copywriter, or similar role
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a keen eye for detail
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices
  • Familiarity with content distribution channels
